.: The Forgotten Arts and Crafts

» The Forgotten Arts and Crafts, John Seymour.
Enjoyable, but light. The author mostly describes life in Victorian times, with personal anecdotes sprinkled liberally throughout. The anecdotes are fun, but sometimes only marginally relevant to the purported topic. Also, beware the numerous rants against modern life. I liked The Self-sufficient Life and How to Live It: The Complete Back-to-Basics Guide (review) much, much better. [ 01.15.06 ]
