Everything onscreen is fun to look at, but the story doesn't start until some 30 minutes into the film. Until that time the action is completely confusing and lots of the story simply doesn't make sense. Not enough character development, and not enough of the single thing that made the first film such a success: Captain Jack Sparrow. Who cares about the lack of a proper ending—why on earth would Will want to save such a despicable character? This is going to be the Matrix all over again. [ 07.08.06 ]
