While I think this book is interesting, in part, as an artifact of its time. Johnson is right about lots of things, in fact, I'd say that he got the fundamentals right. Perhaps the things he doesn't anticipate (broadband and its effects) are the most interesting. I still can't decide whether his primary thesis is exactly right, or terribly myopic. [ 06.23.06 ]
