Not up to Pixar's usual standard. Pleasant, predictable, and better than almost all the other animated features out there, but not as smart and inventive as their past work. I was bored during far too much of the film, as were many of the kids in the theatre with me, so I give it only a weak "3". The animation, however, is astounding. The cars, the textures of the earth—unbelievable. Somehow the animators managed to make the Paul Newman character look like Paul Newman. [ 06.24.06 ]
