I loved this film. It's not science fiction, despite what the publicity materials say and if you try to understand it as that you will be frustrated. It's the story of a man's experience told 3 ways: as a narrative, as fiction, and through his inner landscape. It is flawed: at the end, the protagonist's behavior changes for reasons not reflected in the narrative line, leading to a rather pat ending. But worth seeing anyway. Visually stunning. [ 12.08.06 ]
